Empowering Justice-Impacted Individuals in Cook County

The National Diversity and Inclusion Cannabis Alliance (NDICA) in collaboration with 49th Ward Alderwoman Maria Hadden and OAI is proud to present the FRESH START Free Expungement Clinic. This initiative is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to justice-involved and impacted individuals from Cook County.

Why Attend the FRESH START Clinic?

Having a criminal record can be a significant barrier to accessing employment, housing, and other essential opportunities. This clinic aims to offer a fresh start by helping individuals clear their records and move forward with their lives.

Services Offered:

  1. Sealing or Expunging Criminal Records: Receive full-service assistance with the application, preparation, and filing for both adult and juvenile criminal record expungement and sealing.
  2. Registering to Vote: Learn about your rights and get registered to vote.
  3. Understanding Cannabis Legalization: Get informed about the latest cannabis laws and how they impact you.
  4. Finding Employment Opportunities: Connect with resources to help you find job opportunities.
  5. Developing Workforce Skills: Participate in skill development sessions to enhance your employability.

This event is a crucial step in supporting those affected by the criminal justice system, providing them with the tools and resources they need to rebuild their lives.
