More information following in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
The NDICA (National Diversity and Inclusion Cannabis Alliance) and Humble & Fume Inc. are combining forces. The duo will use their combined backgrounds in legalized cannabis to provide combined guidance and expertise to develop a greater inclusive atmosphere in the ancillary cannabis industry.
BIPOC entrepreneurs will now have a distinct avenue to fine-tune their talents and products, learn about the industry, and maintain enthusiasm despite the obstacles.
#HumbleandFume is a global premier distributor of cannabis accessories to dispensaries, head shops, and smoke shops.
#NDICA sees the deficiency in the representation of BIPOCs in the cannabis marketplace. The new program strives to break down ethical and equitable barriers impacting the real victims of the war on drugs: people of color and their disenfranchised communities.
NDICA has chapters in Fresno, L.A., Chicago, Oklahoma City, and Columbus. Their existing programs include community outreach, internships, education, vocational training, social equity, and youth empowerment, all with a focus on marginalized individuals and communities.
Applying to the Mentorship Program
The mentorship program is a great opportunity to build your future in the cannabis industry for ancillary brands.
The program offers select business opportunities that include participation in events like next year’s Winter/Spring 2022 industry tradeshows, business development, marketing and branding development, global distribution through Humble + Fume & Windship Trading Co., and a full spread in @BlackCannabisMagazine
You can fill out the application online.
The submission deadline falls on September 30th, 2021, at 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time. The program will contact selected candidates in mid-October for a video interview with their selection committee.
NDICA is on a mission to foster equity, inclusivity, and accessible spaces where all people feel respected, valued, and supported. The dream is to allow everyone to achieve their full potential regardless. If you’d like to know more about their programs, reach out.
